The saxophone quartet is an increasingly popular classical musical line-up that has conquered the world over the past few years. Mobilis Saxophone Quartet established in Austria in 2009 were one of the pioneers in this respect; each member of the group is a superb soloist of a different nationality. Thanks to their differing cultural backgrounds, their repertoire is extremely wide so that as well as compositions for saxophone quartet they also deal with plenty of arrangements from the classical repertoire. In 2011 they released a prize winning debut album, and in the following years they gave two full-house concerts in the Vienna Musikverein. For their Liszt Academy concert they take to the stage with Erzsébet Seleljo, who completed her classical saxophone studies as a student of the London Royal College of Music and Konservatorium Privatuniversität Wien. Their programme starts with a Vivaldi piece and is followed by popular and lighter works by 20th century and contemporary composers.
