Catalin-Daniel Raducanu, the student of the National Academy of Music in Bucharest, whose teacher is pianist Viniciu Moroianu, is holding a concert at the Liszt Academy of Music on 18 November 2014. Catalin-Daniel has won several prizes and grants in Romania, among others he won 3rd prize at the „George Georgescu” Competition (2010) and the „Lipatti” Competition (2011), and won 1st prize and Special Award at the „Victor Giuleanu” Competition (2011). In 2014 he won the3rd prize of the Hungarian Music Festival organised by the Hungarian Cultural Centre Bucharest (Balassi Institute), and as part of this prize he got the opportunity to performe at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. He is also a scholarship holder of the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation. Catalin-Daniel has performed in all several concert halls of Romania, such as the National Academy of Music in Bucharest, the Museum „George Enescu”, and several cultural centres, like the Czech Centre and the Hungarian Cultural Centre. He held a recital at the French Embassy and at the residency of the German Ambassador in Bucharest. He has also given recitals in Hannover and Menden. He participated at the master classes of Cristian Beldi and Marton Hughes as well as classes of Romanian masters.
