The Franz Liszt and Sándor Veress Prize-winning Dénes Várjon, with his sensational technique, deep musicality, wide range of interest have made him one of the most exciting and highly regarded participants of international musical life. He is a universal musician: an excellent soloist, first-class chamber musician, artistic leader of festivals, highly sought-after teacher. He appears regularly at leading international festivals from Marlboro Music Festival to Salzburg and Edinburgh Festival.
In his work, chamber music is of exceptional importance. After several highly successful joint production, Várjon will perform again with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra in this season. This time he performs pieces from the three masters of Viennese Classicism: Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro Overture (K. 492), Beethoven's C major Piano Concerto in C major (No. 1) and Haydn’s Ssymphony in B flat major (No. 102).
