Information on ticket purchases

The ticket office of the Liszt Academy is located in the main building (1061 Budapest, Liszt Ferenc Square 8.), next to the main entrance.

Opening hours:

• Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:00, (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and on days without performances)
• on days with evening performances from 14:00 until the end of the intermission,
• in case of morning and midday performances, from 30 minutes before the beginning until 15 minutes after the start if there is no intermission. If there is an intermission, until the end of it.

We accept both cash and credit cards, but purchases with OTP SZÉP cards are not available at the ticket office. If you need an invoice for your purchase, please let our colleagues know before making the purchase.

Liszt Academy Gift cards

The gift card issued by the Liszt Academy is valid for one year and can only be used to purchase tickets for concerts organized by the Academy itself. You may buy it at the Academy's ticket office or online HERE. The gift card serves to buy tickets for any number of concerts organized by the Liszt Academy, and can be used to purchase tickets both online and at the ticket office of the Liszt Academy. Gift cards are not valid for guided tours.

Discounts for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy

There are discounts for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy. These are marked with a lyre symbol displayed next to the title of the concert both on our website and in our publications, their list are to be found on this link.

Concerts not marked with the lyre symbol are organized by an orchestra or a performing artist renting the halls of the Liszt Academy. Information about their tickets and other services is available at them. For details on these concerts, please consult the website of the concert organizer.

1. Series discounts for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy (except for the events with dynamic pricing):
   5% when purchasing tickets for 2 or 3 different concerts at the same time
   10% when purchasing tickets for four or more different concerts at the same time. 
   
   
2. Liszt Academy Extra:
   The Liszt Academy Extra is the loyalty program of the Liszt Academy. Those who sign up for the program receive regular information about our events in a newsletter, and we intend to present personalized offers to program participants at a later point. Subscribers to the Liszt Academy Extra program are entitled to a further 5% discount on every purchase and this applies to events with dynamic pricing, too.
   
   
3. Student tickets:
   Students with a valid student ID can purchase tickets at a price of HUF 900 for all concerts held at the Liszt Academy. The seats for student tickets are located on the second-floor balcony of the Grand Hall and there are designated student seats in the Solti Hall. For concerts organized by the Liszt Academy, student tickets may be issued to other seats as well, depending on attendance.
4. Disability discount:
   There are two seats available in the Grand Hall for those arriving in a wheelchair and/or are accompanied by assistance dogs. For concerts organized by the Liszt Academy, the available discount rate is 90% of the ticket price for the given concert for people with disabilities and 60% for their companion.
   
   
5. Group escort discount:
   Teachers or parents accompanying student groups can request a free ticket to the concerts organized by the Liszt Academy. Student groups must consist of at least 10 students.  For groups of 20 or more, two free escort tickets can be requested.
   
   

Online ticket purchase

On our website, in the concert list click on the ticket icon or, on a given concert's programme page, on the "buy ticket" button, and the system will navigate you to the ticket purchase interface. On the ticket map displayed there, move the cursor over the seat of your choice to see the purchase price, and if you find it suitable, click on it to reserve. If more seats are needed, repeat these steps.

After you finish the reservation, click on the "add to cart" button and a summary will be displayed on another interface. You can also redeem your online vouchers on that page. If you accept the displayed information, select the "continue to customer information" button and enter the data required to purchase the ticket(s) on the next page.

Once you enter all the necessary information, the ticket purchase will be effectuated. If you buy tickets for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy through our website, the so-called convenience fee will not be charged, your invoice will be automatically generated and sent to your email address.

Online tickets for concerts organized by the Liszt Academy can be purchased with OTP SZÉP cards as well. After adding the selected ticket(s) to the basket, select the OTP SZÉP card payment method and you will be redirected to the OTP bank interface, where the transaction can be completed after entering the card data. You can only use one payment method to complete a transaction, either OTP SZÉP card or a debit/credit card.
