Concerto Budapest / Mozart-day

Since 2018, Concerto Budapest has dedicated a one-day concert series every year to the eternal favorite of classical music, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, or rather to the ensemble’s insatiable passion for Mozart. This will also be the case on the first Sunday of March 2025. From wind quintets to piano concertos, a range of genres will represent Mozart’s art in the consecutive concerts, and, thanks to Izabella Simon, a children's program is also promised this year, continuing a tradition. 'This day will remain in my memory as a bright, clear, and beautiful recollection for the rest of my life. As if from afar, the magical sounds of Mozart's music still softly echo in my ears.' This is how Franz Schubert wrote about a day two hundred years ago that he spent with the music of his great and highly admired predecessor, and chances are, we will all remember this Mozartian Sunday and holiday in a similar way.
