Környei-Razvalyaeva duo achieve international success
Anastasia Razvalyaeva and Miklós Környei won second prize at the 4th Concurso Ibérico de Música de Cámara con Arpa competition.
The contest, which translates as the international Spanish harp chamber music competition, was held in Madrid between 20-23 February 2014. The duo of Miklós Környei (guitar) and Anastasia Razvalyaeva (harp) won the €2000 prize coming second place in the adult category. The young artists teamed up in 2011. They not only research original harp-guitar pieces but also make their own arrangements. They consider it important to mediate contemporary music, and together with several young Hungarian composers they are indefatigable in their efforts to broaden the repertoire. As members of the Musiciens Libres chamber ensemble, they regularly perform both in solo roles and as chamber musicians.
