Barnabás Kelemen will perform with Shai Wosner instead of Joshua Bell

29 March 2022

The American violinist has tested positive for covid, so tonight's concert will be performed by his Hungarian colleague as the pianist's partner.

In view that Joshua Bell's mandatory coronavirus test in Budapest turned out to be positive, the Liszt Academy asked the Kossuth Prize-awarded and internationally renowned Hungarian virtuoso to perform at the concert on 29 March, featuring works by Schubert, Beethoven, Bloch and Ravel. Barnabás Kelemen has agreed to play the entire programme with Shai Wosner.

Tickets are still valid, but if you do not wish to attend the concert, you will of course be refunded. Tickets purchased at the box office can be refunded at the place of purchase. Those who purchased online will get a message from Liszt Academy Concert Centre as soon as possible.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
